Really, it’s easy.
What do you like? What business do you want to build?
Just ask yourself the above question and the answer will come to you.
You could start by just writing down what comes to mind. Pure brainstorming. Don’t dismiss any idea just because it sounds too wild or too crazy. Stretching your imagination will be enough in some cases to make those ideas viable starting point for a business.
And stretching your imagination building a business will, to talk in slightly odd Yoda-English.
Always go after the ideas that sound fun to you. Building a business is more like a marathon so moments of doubt and being drained will come. If you are then in a business that is fun and close to your heart can be a big, big bonus, believe me.
If then, after 10, 20 or so minutes you have your first idea sketched out plan one or two this you can do straight away just to build momentum in the process. Use the bundles of energy you have in you during these moments and shift gears a little bit. It’s fun, isn’t it. And it doesn’t need much time, 20 minutes, half an hour will do for starters…
…because here’s a little secret: Break it all up into small, bite size junks and you will never feel paralyzed by the seemingly huge mountain you have to climb.
Do the small things, keep doing them, enjoy while you do them and things will keep building as you go forward, after some time you’ll have the first building blocks of your business in place…!!!
