Have you ever been mobbed by your colleagues or your boss? You dread coming to the office on a Monday morning, or every morning for that matter. You never enjoyed your job very much but now it’s just pure pain, torture simply.
Little cruelties are being inflicted on you, you are being overlooked when it comes to promotions, and you simply get the sense that you are not being appreciated in the organization.
Probably your colleagues (or your boss) wanna get rid of you.
Dude, and these are your peers?
Man, you must be in the wrong job, the wrong place!!
And your Ego? Takes a hit, doesn’t it? It hurts and your self confidence suffers.
But hold on a minute. Do not panic. There might be good news for you in this.
Could it be that you really are in the wrong place? That you never fitted in, and maybe never wanted to fit in anyways?
Maybe you are just a dick, probably you are. But maybe, just maybe, you are meant to do a little more with your life.
Than just scraping by in this silly job. Which is really just a waste of your time, your life, and the only reason you are doing it is for the paycheque at the end of each month.
Well, here is the good news: There is a better way to live!!
Yes, I know, there are other ways of dealing with being mobbed without exercising the exit option but do you really want to waste your time fighting back and go to war with such mediocre office types?
People you used to consider your peers. The same people you have outgrown for quite a while.
Exactly! It’s not worth it, is it!
So, let me give you the best advice there is in this kind of situation:
Quit and start your own business!
Or better, get yourself fired, take as a big a compensation package as you can get your hands on and leave.
I know, you might be a little scared to do this right away and nobody is saying it will be all good and all easy but at least you are dealing with problems worth dealing with.
Rather putting up with psychopath colleagues and bosses for the rest of your life.
The least you can do for yourself is take a moment and really become aware of your situation.
What is your situation now, and more importantly, what would you rather do, and where would you rather be??
Tap back into your dreams and feel the passion and excitement again when doing things you really care about. Play it through in your head a few times, imagine it. Do it over a period of a couple of days, one or two weeks at most, until you really feel it.
Do it until being scared to quit just doesn’t matter anymore as you are getting ever more excited about changing your life for the better and finally re-taking charge of your life again.
Develop a plan to exit the corporate life or this job that so sucks, and DO IT!
I promise you, you will never look back.
